Welcome
Researchers in Princeton's Department of Computer Science focus on a broad array of security-related research areas. The interdisciplinary Security Research Group has active projects spanning the domains of cryptography (both theoretical and applied), distributed systems and networking, programming languages and formal methods, web security, and privacy-enhancing technologies.
Many of the group's members are also affiliated with Princeton's Center for Information Technology Policy where they study problems at the intersection of computer security, policy, and law including electronic voting, Internet privacy, and the relationship between digital technology and copyright.
